Anton Yarosh
Transportation and logistics professional from Love Is Blind Season 9.
Overview
Anton Yarosh appeared on Netflix’s Love Is Blind Season 9 as a transportation and logistics professional in the Denver dating pool. He became engaged to nurse Ali Lima, and their relationship continued from the pods through a shared apartment and wedding ceremony. Although Yarosh said yes at the altar, Lima declined to marry. Their engagement was one of the season’s central stories about whether an immediate emotional connection could survive practical differences.
Yarosh spent his childhood in Russia and learned English as a second language. In the official cast introduction, he described honesty, openness and family life as priorities. He hoped to settle down with a partner who wanted a home together, potentially including a dog. The introduction also mentioned his tattoos, some self-applied, while emphasizing that sincere conversation mattered more to him than the appearances the experiment initially concealed.
His connection with Lima developed around shared experiences of building a life in the United States. Netflix’s account noted that both had worked at McDonald’s as teenagers, started learning English at eight and shortened their first names to fit in. They became the first couple engaged in the pods that season. TODAY later reported that the two discovered a different challenge after moving in together: both worked nights, leaving limited time to share ordinary routines.
After the engagement ended, Yarosh reflected on lifestyle expectations and the difference between falling in love and being ready to marry. In an October 2025 interview with Netflix, he reported buying a house in the Denver mountains and living there with a new girlfriend. He described that relationship as having developed from friendship and emotional familiarity. His television story remains anchored in the engagement to Lima and the adjustments that followed its end.
