Overview

Kendra Lust is an adult-entertainment performer whose public work also includes podcasting and conversations about combat sports. Her appearances in sports media offer a different view of her career from the film work for which she first became known. Interviews have explored her interest in mixed martial arts, the people she met through that interest and her move into hosting.

In 2020, she teamed with fighter Julian Marquez for “Beauty & The Beast.” The show paired her entertainment background with his experience in professional fighting. Its own description identifies a wide-ranging format, mixing discussion of business and money with fight talk and everyday experiences. The Apple Podcasts archive lists episodes from 2020 and 2021, so that archive should not be mistaken for confirmation that new episodes are currently being produced.

Speaking with MMA journalist James Lynch about the project, Lust described meeting Marquez in Las Vegas through mutual friends. She said their friendship developed before they began exchanging ideas for a podcast. In that interview, she also acknowledged wanting to improve her public-speaking skills and explained why working with an outgoing co-host appealed to her. The conversation presented the show as a collaboration rather than a solo interview vehicle.

Her interest in sports predates that partnership. In a Guy Hut interview, she described basketball as her favorite sport to play while growing up and recalled her father coaching her. She also talked about continuing to enjoy the game as an adult. Those personal recollections help explain the connection between her entertainment work and the sports discussions that later became part of her media appearances.

Lust has also spoken about an earlier career in nursing. She told Guy Hut that she had worked as a registered nurse for roughly eight years and valued caring for patients. That account is her own description of her work history. Taken together, the interviews and podcast archive document a public career with several strands: performance, hosting, an established sports interest and a professional background outside entertainment.
