Darcey Silva

Overview

Darcey Silva’s first major 90 Day Fiancé storyline began with a trip to Amsterdam. TLC introduced the Connecticut resident in the inaugural season of Before the 90 Days in 2017, when she was preparing to meet Jesse Meester after connecting through a dating app. Their story placed her among the spinoff’s original participants, in a format built around first in-person meetings rather than an already approved American visa.

Her later franchise appearances broadened that television identity. TheWrap’s preview of Pillow Talk in April 2019 listed Darcey and her twin sister Stacey among its first reaction teams, while identifying Darcey’s earlier appearances in Before the 90 Days seasons one and two. TV Insider’s coverage of the eventual sisters’ spinoff also connected her television history to relationships with Jesse and Tom Brooks.

Darcey & Stacey premiered in August 2020, giving the sisters a show organized around their intertwined personal lives. Its opening episode revisited Darcey’s recent heartbreak while Stacey prepared for Florian Sukaj’s arrival from Albania. By the fourth season, TLC’s episode guide followed Darcey’s dating, the sisters’ clothing-line launch and conflicts surrounding Stacey’s wedding. The show brought family and work into the same narrative instead of presenting Darcey only as half of a long-distance couple.

Another milestone came when Darcey married Georgi Rusev on November 11, 2023, a date confirmed in TLC’s wedding gallery. The network subsequently included Darcey and Georgi in its Happily Ever After? season-nine announcement. Across these credits, her franchise career spans first-meeting romance, commentary, a title-led family series and a returning-couple ensemble. Stacey served as her maid of honor, linking another milestone in Darcey’s romance to the sisters’ shared family story.
