Overview
Jordan Keltner appeared on Netflix’s Love Is Blind Season 9 as a service manager and single father in the Denver dating pool. He became engaged to entrepreneur Megan Walerius after conversations that deepened beyond their different lifestyles. Their engagement ended before the wedding, with both later describing a respectful relationship after the breakup. Keltner’s post-season interviews also introduced his plans for writing and a change in his working life.
Before entering the pods, Keltner identified patience as an essential quality in a partner. Netflix’s cast introduction described him as proud of his professional progress despite not completing college. He wanted someone ambitious, caring and willing to join a family that already included his young son. His unusual high-protein breakfast smoothie also became a memorable detail, although the more significant question for him was finding a partner comfortable with the responsibilities of parenthood.
Walerius initially questioned whether their routines would align, but their conversations became more emotionally involved and the two agreed to marry. After leaving the pods, their relationship tested how those plans would fit into daily life. They ultimately did not proceed to the altar. In Netflix’s later account, Keltner said they had agreed not to marry unless both felt fully certain, and he accepted that Walerius had made the right decision for herself and his family.
In an October 2025 interview after the reunion, Keltner said he had resigned from his job to explore opportunities that would allow more room for family life. He also discussed his children’s book Dear Luca and an interest in advocacy connected to his experience as a parent. He and Walerius had maintained a friendly connection, while he described taking dating slowly and prioritizing stability at home. His reflections placed fatherhood, work and personal development alongside the engagement that brought him to television audiences.
