The Lowdown
Kuruk is a great choice for a spinoff. The original series gave him only a few minutes and a reputation, which leaves a lot of room to tell his story. A comedic, surfboard-carrying teenage Avatar is a nice change of pace for a franchise that has leaned heavy lately.
