Overview
Taylor Haag, also known as Taylor Hastings, is a nurse who appeared in the Minneapolis-based eighth season of Netflix’s Love Is Blind. She formed a connection with Daniel Hastings in the pods, accepted his proposal and married him during the season. Their relationship became one of the experiment’s central stories as they adjusted from conversations without visual contact to making plans together outside the pods.
Netflix introduced Haag as a colonoscopy nurse. Her cast biography emphasized a love of Christmas traditions and a wish to share ordinary rituals, including decorating a tree, with a future spouse. She also described humor as an important part of attraction and said she wanted to approach a new relationship with greater openness after earlier dating experiences.
Her conversations with Daniel quickly became serious, with both discussing a future that extended beyond the show’s short timeline. The question for Haag was not simply whether a proposal would happen, but whether the reassurance she felt in the pods would translate to life together. In Netflix’s later interviews, she described feeling supported by Daniel as she worked through uncertainty.
After meeting Daniel face-to-face, Haag questioned whether he had previously encountered her on Instagram. The couple discussed that uncertainty on the show and later told Netflix that working through it had helped them understand each other. In August 2025, MPR News identified her as Taylor Hastings, formerly Haag, and reported that the couple had held a larger vow renewal in Chaska that May. Her television story therefore includes both the rapid courtship of the experiment and the family celebration that followed it.
