Alex Brown
Commercial real estate broker, former music teacher and Love Is Blind Season 8 participant.
Overview
Alex Brown appeared in the Minneapolis cast of Love Is Blind Season 8 as a commercial real estate broker. His pod connection with artist Madison Errichiello became part of an overlapping set of courtships involving Mason Horacek and Meg Fink. Unlike the five couples whose engagements continued into the later stages of the season, Brown’s experience centered on dating inside the pods and the conversations that followed those connections afterward.
Before working in real estate, Brown had taught high school music. Netflix’s introduction described a musician comfortable with an unusually wide range of instruments, including guitar, piano, bass, drums, violin and clarinet. It also mentioned a less conventional skill: riding a unicycle. Those interests gave his cast biography a creative side beyond the job title attached to his appearance, with music occupying a substantial part of the picture.
For a relationship, Brown hoped to meet someone adventurous who could appreciate a slightly nerdy personality. His official introduction treated everyday compatibility with humor, including a warning that a partner might have to tolerate his snoring. Rather than listing an ideal appearance, the profile emphasized someone comfortable with the noise and activity that could come with a musician’s home. These were his stated hopes before viewers saw how the dates would unfold.
The aftermath of those dates also became part of the season’s reunion discussion. Netflix’s post-season interviews with Fink and Horacek described Brown remaining connected to members of that group as they compared their experiences. The accounts showed how a pod relationship could be interpreted differently by the people involved, while also producing friendships outside the central wedding stories. Brown’s credit belongs to that wider Minneapolis ensemble, not to a separate marriage storyline that the season never followed.
