Trivia question
Which actor says he was the runner-up to Jonathan Frakes for Commander Riker?
Answer: Billy Campbell.
Why It’s True
Campbell told StarTrek.com: "I think it was down to Jonathan and myself. And the best man got the job." A season later the show's casting director brought him back to play the rogue Thadiun Okona, which he called "kind of a consolation prize."
