The Lowdown
Femi kicking out of brass knuckles and a Tsunami is the kind of moment that makes a future world champion. The Vision keeps throwing bodies at him, and he keeps winning anyway; at some point WWE has to give him the title shot.
Key Takeaways
- Oba Femi beat Bronson Reed at Money in the Bank on October 10 (WWE).
- Femi kicked out of a Tsunami after Reed hit him twice with brass knuckles slipped to him by Maxxine Dupri (WWE).
- Reed returned at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 to attack Femi with a chair and multiple Tsunamis (WWE).
- Femi finished Reed with Fall From Grace after chokeslamming Austin Theory (WWE).
The Story
Oba Femi got his payback. At Money in the Bank in New Orleans, The Ruler beat Bronson Reed in a match WWE’s own recap called “a titanic clash” (WWE).
The feud started in Atlanta on September 6. Femi was beating Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event, winning by disqualification after Maxxine Dupri handed Breakker brass knuckles, when Reed returned and destroyed him with a steel chair and several Tsunamis (WWE).
The Vision tried the same tricks in New Orleans. Logan Paul was ejected for bringing a chair into the ring, Dupri slipped Reed the brass knuckles, and Reed hit Femi with them twice before a Tsunami, but Femi kicked out (WWE).
After a failed moonsault, Femi chokeslammed Austin Theory and finished Reed with Fall From Grace (WWE). Reed and Breakker have since teamed up to attack Penta and Je’Von Evans on Raw (WWE).
