Georgi Rusev

Overview

Georgi Rusev became known to the 90 Day Fiancé audience through Darcey & Stacey, the TLC series centered on twin sisters Darcey and Stacey Silva. His relationship with Darcey made him part of the show’s adult relationship ensemble, distinct from the partners who had appeared in her earlier Before the 90 Days storylines. TLC later photographed Georgi and Darcey alongside Stacey and Florian as the two couples celebrated another major family occasion.

By the fourth season, Georgi’s connection to both sisters’ households was a recurring part of the narrative. TLC’s episode descriptions include Florian Sukaj trying to broker peace between Georgi and Darcey, and a later rehearsal dinner disrupted by a revelation involving Georgi. The season interwove Darcey’s dating life with Stacey and Florian’s wedding preparations, so Georgi’s role was not confined to scenes of a couple talking alone.

The network’s gallery of Stacey and Florian’s celebration identifies Georgi as the best man and Darcey as the maid of honor. It shows the pair participating in the wedding party despite tension in their own relationship. That connection to Florian helps explain why Georgi remained part of the series’ central social circle even as his relationship with Darcey went through changes.

TLC later confirmed that Georgi and Darcey married on November 11, 2023, in a gallery devoted to their wedding photographs. Stacey was Darcey’s maid of honor, with Florian also participating in the celebration. The network then named Darcey and Georgi among the returning couples for Happily Ever After? season nine. Those appearances followed the changes between the fourth-season wedding episodes, when he was Florian’s best man, and his own wedding to Darcey later that year.
