Overview

Guillermo Rojer became a principal participant in 90 Day Fiancé during its ninth season in 2022. A Venezuelan living in the Dominican Republic when the relationship began, he met Kara Bass while she was visiting for work. They continued communicating after the trip, then moved in together when her employer asked her to relocate to the Dominican Republic. The relationship progressed to an engagement before the pandemic separated them.

TLC’s introduction found Guillermo preparing to move to Charlottesville, Virginia, after nine months away from Kara. Their first season followed the transition from an engagement abroad to life together in the United States. Decisions about finances, independence and socializing became part of that adjustment. The wedding aired during season nine, with the couple marrying at a German beer hall. In the episode’s interviews, Guillermo spoke about his hopes of owning a home and becoming a parent.

Guillermo and Kara later welcomed a son and appeared in 90 Day Diaries. The official sixth-season preview placed work, parenthood and the pursuit of personal goals at the center of their update. The couple next participated in season three of 90 Day: The Last Resort. TLC introduced them as living separately while considering whether they could repair the marriage. An October 2026 account in TV Insider says their attempt at reconciliation did not succeed and that Guillermo did not join Kara at the final recommitment ceremony. These later appearances document a different stage of their relationship from the courtship viewers first encountered in 2022, with the question shifting from how to begin a marriage to whether the partnership could continue.
